Is The Fear of the Unknown Holding You Back?

Oct. 7th, 2023

"🤔 Are you ever afraid to take that first step because you're not sure where it might lead?

Hi there! I know it’s been a minute. This past few months I’ve had the privilege to speak in front of different organizations;  from small communities to large tech companies and I’ve never felt so sure that I truly love what I do.  I’ve taken a journey, not knowing where it will take me, but I did it with intent; a mission - to share my passion for mental health, to shed light on the intricacies of trauma, and to assure others that they are never alone on this path.  I figured, I’ll do my best and just see where it goes.

In my journey I've sewn together the threads of my own personal story, the experiences I've had with my patients, and the combination of neuroscience, storytelling, research-backed information, and practical strategies. It's been a journey filled with compassion and a desire to empower individuals to embrace their own unique journey towards healing.

Why have I dedicated myself to this cause? Because I know the power of storytelling, of sharing our struggles and triumphs. It's through these narratives that we find our common humanity, and we discover that our experiences, while unique, connect us all.

Make it stand out

It started with one small step toward a mission…

When it comes to sharing my story in talks, podcasts, and other public speaking events, I do admit, that it takes a lot, to share your personal journey. Emotionally, physically, being open and vulnerable…but all the positive feedbacks, emails, comments, statements; they allow me to see how much these information are still hidden from so many.

It's about the collective strength we find in one another, the wisdom we share, and the hand we extend to those who may be struggling in silence. It's about creating a safe and inclusive space where we can navigate the often tumultuous waters of mental health together.

I express my gratitude for the opportunity to serve and to learn alongside all of you. Our journey continues, and I'm more motivated than ever to keep the conversation alive, to keep sharing, and to keep empowering one another.
